2023-03-27 Sunrise in Tulum

I have one day and one night left in Tulum.

It is not a city that I liked. First of all the beach is full of sargassum and it is very far from the city center.

Access to the beach is difficult, as there are a multitude of paying Beach Clubs along the seafront.

There is public access, but it is invaded by sargassum. This is a seasonal phenomenon.

Garbage is everywhere here!

I'm really looking forward to coming back to Quebec. I'm going to get involved in clean-up operations organized by Action St-Francois.

Humans are capable of beautiful things, but also of the worst.

Another problem is the intense heat from midday onwards.

Another problem in Tulum is the lack of nature. All the cenotes are paid and crowded.

On April 6th I will return to Quebec, I can't wait. I will enjoy and look at my city with new eyes.

Thanks to life which sometimes has its ups and downs.

I am currently in a downward phase.
